Celebrating our 65th Year!
Troop 29 is one of Franklin's oldest troops, founded in 1958. We are newly chartered by St. John's Episcopal Church and are very excited to start meetings in our new location this fall!
We are a Scout Led Troop that is managed by our Patrol Leaders Council in conjunction with our Scoutmasters and Troop Committee. Troop 29 meets weekly on Tuesday nights at St. John's Church in Franklin, MA, at 7pm. We have monthly troop trips that change seasonally and yearly. We have recently gone white water rafting, biking on Cape Cod, Tree Tops rope course climbing, surfing, ocean fishing, and canoe camping. We like to keep the Scouts' adventures varied so that they are always learning new skills and having different experiences. We are often tent camping, but occasionally will also rent a cabin to keep warm and promote troop comradery.
Check out our page with past troop trips to see where our adventures have taken us.
